Established in 1962 by retired Turkish Air Force Colonel Pilot Haydar Gursan, EMAIR Aviation Inc. (initially named Emekli Trade Inc.) is a leading aviation company in Turkey with years of experience on sales, service maintenance and operation of Cessna Aircraft.
EMAIR is the only authorized sales representative of Cessna Aircraft, for the whole product line from single engine Cessnas to Citation business jets, in Turkey for more than 40 years. EMAIR has delivered more than 250 Cessna aircraft, of which around 50 of them are Citation business jets in the territory to government, military and private customers.. Among these aircraft are 12 Skyhawk 172S flight training aircraft equipped with Garmin G1000 glass cockpit and 2 Citation Mustang business jet aircraft operated by Turkish Airlines Flight Academy, 46 Turbo Skylane T182T flight training aircraft operated by Turkish Land Forces, 6 Skyhawk 172S flight training aircraft and 2 Caravan 208 turboprop aircraft operated by Turkish Aeronautical Association, 2 Citation V and 2 Citation XLS operated by the Turkish State Airport Authorities - DHMI for electronic calibration missions, 2 Citation IIs operated by the Turkish Air Force for electronic calibration and 2 Citation VIIs for VIP transport.  Increasing aircraft sales brought the need to support the fleet and EMAIR Aviation has established a maintenance facility in Ankara Esenboga International Airport (LTAC) in 1994. EMAIR Service Center is offering maintenance and spare parts support to most Cessna Citation, Caravan, Multi Engine and Single Engine aircraft in the region along with some other GA aircraft. The Service Center located at the private hangars area (Apron 5) has been one of the first Turkish maintenance facilities to receive JAR-145 approval in 1999. In 2010 EMAIR opened the doors of its new maintenance facility offering 2000 sqm of hangar space and 800 sqm of office/shop space, which became the largest business aviation hangar in the country. The convenient location of the Ankara Esenboga International Airport enables EMAIR to serve customers in a wide region between Eastern Europe and Middle East. Currently EMAIR Maintenance Facility is the only Cessna Authorized Service Center for Cessna single engine, multi engine, Caravan and Citation aircraft in Turkey.
